If you had bought $1000 worth of Amazon stock back in 2000 you'd be a millionaire by now.
If you had invested $1000 in Bitcoin four years ago, you'd be a millionaire by now.
If you had invested $1000 in an apartment in NYC in the 1950s you'd be a millionaire by now.
Well, probably not....
Because none of these things went up all the time.
As a matter of fact, almost all of the above and their underlying markets crashed dozens of times.
And if you've ever gone through a crash you probably know how hard it is to survive a crash without going broke, losing faith or going crazy...
So whatever you think you should have done in the past is probably not even worth thinking about.
Because you'd probably not have survived all the ups and downs and would have sold or given up before anyway.
So instead of regretting the things you didn't do, the only thing worth doing is to increase your chances of getting lucky.
So how do you increase your chances of getting lucky?
By spreading your risk....
Will you succeed?
But at least you'll increase your chances of getting lucky.
And that's really the only thing you can do...
