I know.
It sounds obvious.
So obvious that we tend to ignore it.
If your goal is to help people, to have an impact or to leave a dent in the universe, you've gotta help yourself first.
You have to help yourself first to get strong physically, financially, emotionally and every other -ally that's out there.
And to get strong you've gotta do more of the things that make you happy.
And less of the things that don't make you happy.
You've gotta do more of the things things that give you energy.
And less of the things that suck all the energy out of you.
You've gotta spend more time with the people who give you energy (in real life, books, videos, etc.).
And less time with the people who take away all of your energy.
That's the only way to get strong physically, emotionally, financially and every other -ally.
And it's not about being selfish.
It's about doing everything you can to be strong.
To be the best version of yourself.
To be the happiest version of yourself.
To be satisfied.
Because only when you're the best version of yourself, when you're the happiest version of yourself will you be able to help other people to be the best versions and the happiest versions of themselves.
That's the best and maybe the only way to help other people.
To have an impact.
And to leave a dent in the universe.
You can't help anyone when you're weak.
You've gotta help yourself first.
So you're strong enough to help more people, to have a bigger impact and to leave a bigger dent in the universe...
How do I know?
I don't know.
That's just what I've learned about myself over the years...
