Everybody is telling everybody to tell stories. So we all started telling stories.
And now we can read the exact same stories everywhere. We can now read the same stories over and over again. Just the names change. But that's already about it.
Because we don't go out there anymore to experience things worth talking about. And instead we spend hours and hours reading stories from other people. So all stories somehow become the same.
But the truth is, to be able to tell good stories, to be able to become a good storyteller and to tell good stories, you have to get out there and experience things, first. And then tell a story about it. It only works that way. It doesn't work the other way round.
And that's really the only way to become a good storyteller. Experiencing things and then telling unique stories.
If you don't experience things, if you don't go out there, you'll probably never become a good storyteller. And will never be able to tell unique stories.
So every once in a while, go out there and do stuff instead of reading too much of the same stuff. Including my stuff…
