Skipping class just once never hurt nobody.
Not giving your best just once never hurt nobody.
Skipping the hard part and just doing the easy stuff every once in a while never hurt nobody.
It never does.
Not doing something for the first, second or maybe even third time never hurt nobody.
What does though is the realization that skipping things works just as well as doing things.
People won’t call you out after the second, third or maybe even fourth time.
And that’s the real danger.
That’s the real danger of breaking the chain. Of skipping the hard part and not doing the work.
If you got away with it the first, second or third time you might think that you’re safe and will get away with it forever.
But the truth is that you just don’t.
And going back to doing the hard stuff is never really easy once you got used to doing the easy stuff…
