Everyone has an agenda

Everything you consume online or offline is produced by people who follow an agenda. Period.

And it has always been this way.

A newspaper wants and needs more readers to be able to pay its writers so it stays alive.

A blogger wants and needs more readers to be able to sell more of whatever he or she is promoting to be able to keep blogging.

An author wants and needs more readers to sell more books so he or she can keep writing.

Freelancers need to reach more people with their services so they can keep freelancing.

It’s that simple.

Is this a sad world? I don't know. 

Is it a sad world where people try to do what they love?

Is it a sad world where people try to do things they enjoy doing instead of slaving their lives away doing things they don’t enjoy doing working for the man?

Is it a sad world where people try do things they really enjoy and maybe even end up adding value to other people's lives?

I don't know. You tell me..
