What we say we want and what we end up doing are two different things entirely
We want organic, healthy and clean food.
But we're not willing to pay $10 for a piece of chicken in the supermarket.
We are against child labor.
But we keep buying brands that produce their stuff in countries that are known for exploiting people.
We say we want to have an impact, that we want to change the world.
But we're not even capable of changing ourselves.
What we say we want and what we end up doing are two different things entirely.
So does it even matter?
Maybe it does.
Maybe it doesn't.
What it does though is that everything we say and will ask for in the future will be just like that radio that runs in the background that's being ignored by everybody else.
So in the end when we really want something, when we're ready to make a real commitment and move forward, then no one will take us serious anymore.
We'll have turned into that radio that runs in the background that no one listens to anymore.
That everybody ignores...
Don't be that radio.
