Working on the foundation is hard.
Because when you're working on the foundation it looks like you're not making any progress at all.
It's not really anything tangible.
Not really measurable.
Just like when you want to build a 50 floor tall building.
You've gotta work on the foundation first.
So you won't see anything tangible for the first couple of months.
As a matter of fact when you're building a tall building you even gotta go and dig a deep hole.
So you're basically making negative progress when it comes to building that building.
Still, it's an absolute necessity.
Without a proper foundation nothing will ever work.
And that's the trickiest part...
Because when you start something new you want to see instant results.
You want hundreds of thousands of views.
Thousands of likes.
Hundreds of shares.
Dozens of comments.
Or you want to build 50 floors in one day.
But that's just not the way it works.
The way it works is that you've gotta work on the foundation first.
Without ever really seeing any tangible results for quite some time.
And that's what makes it so hard to keep pushing.
Because it'll always feel like you're not making any progress. At all.
But the truth is that you're just building the foundation.
Unfortunately, most people just stop before they've finished building the foundation.
Most people just stop before they will ever get to see any tangible results...
