When almost no one watched your video.
Or read your blog post.
Or bought your book.
Or signed up to your event.
Or subscribed to your service.
What's a lot harder is to celebrate the ones who did.
It's a lot harder to celebrate your achievements.
The things you did.
No mater how big or small.
And it's especially hard to when your achievements seem so tiny.
And comparing your achievements with the achievements of the best of the best out there will always make your achievements seem so tiny.
No matter how big or small they really are.
No one goes viral with that first blog post.
Or that first book.
Or that first podcast episode.
No one has a million dollar audience right from the very start.
No one has 1000 true fans the moment they start putting stuff out there.
It's a year long process.
And the first step in that process is to celebrate each and everyone who's showing up.
Even if it's almost no one.
Because almost no one is still a hell lot more than no one.
And when you keep doing it, when you keep doing your thing, then over time all of these “almost no ones” will add up to almost everybody.
It's easy to beat yourself up.
And a lot harder to celebrate your achievements.
So do yourself and the entire world a favor and celebrate your achievements.
No matter how big or small.
Because that's the only way you'll ever be able to keep showing up...
