They say that only the good players get lucky.
And it makes sense.
Because only when you're a good player will you be able to spot opportunities that others won't.
The good player spots the wave before anybody else.
And then she will ride that wave all the way to the end.
And then get back into the water and get ready for the next wave.
No matter how long she has to wait for that next wave.
She gets better with every single wave she takes.
That's the nature of the good player.
She takes every wave. And learns.
That's what made her a good player in the first place.
And then at one point she starts taking less waves.
On the other hand, the not so good player will fail to spot that wave.
And if she gets lucky once and gets the chance to ride that wave she'll fall off that board.
She won't ride that wave all the way to the end.
And then she doesn't get back into the water.
She calls it a day. Or a night.
She doesn't come back for more.
But you have to go back into the water. Always.
Because that's how you become a good player.
Whatever game you're playing.
The good players always get lucky...
